			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Communities across the United States and Canada answered the call from State Farm for <em>Causes</em> that would make a difference in their neighborhood. Now it is up to people who use Facebook to help bring $25,000 to their communities by voting for the top 40 <em>Causes</em> that mean the most to them via the State Farm® Facebook Page, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/#%21/statefarm" target="_blank">http://www.facebook.com/#!/statefarm</a>.</p>
<p>From April 27 through May 17, the Facebook community is encouraged to visit the <em>Cause An Effect</em> app and vote for their favorite <em>Cause</em>. People can search by Cause name, location or topic, and can vote up to 10 times per day. The 40 <em>Causes</em> that receive the most votes will each receive a $25,000 grant to help build safer, stronger, better educated communities.</p>
<p>&#8220;The overwhelming number of submissions shows the level of caring, commitment and desire within our communities to come together and solve local issues,&#8221; said Kellie Clapper, Assistant Vice President of Community Relations for State Farm. &#8220;Now we&#8217;re challenging communities to take it to the next level; to get behind their <em>Causes</em> and vote.&#8221;</p>
<p>State Farm received 3,000<em> Causes </em>submissions through<em> Cause An Effect,</em> a youth-led, crowd-sourced philanthropic initiative that relies on local, non-profit organizations to create solutions to community issues identified by people who use Facebook. Every state, district and province in the United States and Canada that were eligible to participate was represented by a <em>Cause </em>within the categories of education, safety and community development.</p>
<p>The State Farm<strong> </strong><a href="http://www.statefarmyab.com/" target="_blank">Youth Advisory Board</a><strong>,</strong> a diverse group of 30 students who are passionate about social responsibility, reviewed the <em>Cause</em> submissions and helped State Farm select the top 100 finalists.<strong> </strong>State Farm then identified and paired nonprofits with each <em>Cause</em>.</p>
<p>The 40 <em>Causes</em> that receive the most votes will be announced on May 22, and a $25,000 grant will be awarded to the affiliated nonprofits. These nonprofits will create and execute a plan to address the <em>Cause; </em>the <em>Cause </em>submitters can be as involved as they choose to be in this process.</p>

</strong>The Youth Advisory Board is comprised of 30 students, ages 17-20, from across the United States and Canada who serve a two-year term. Their directive is to implement a $5 million-a-year signature service-learning initiative to address issues important to youth and communities. It consists of a diverse group of full-time students at high schools and universities. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NetAmerica Alliance, LLC today announced it has launched an innovative program to help carriers which purchased 700MHz spectrum in Auction 73 to meet build-out requirements, while securing a path forward to revenue generating IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) value-added services. The terms associated with these licenses mandate that carriers which acquired spectrum in the lower 700MHz band provide wireless service coverage in 35% of the license&#8217;s geographic area by June 2013. With the clock ticking, many license owners are considering their options.</p>
<p>NetAmerica Alliance, which recently went live with its national service brand (Bonfire™) and its IMS-Powered SuperCenter™, has launched a program which allows 700MHz license holders to join the Alliance as an Affiliate Member, providing them a fast track to building a network capable of meeting FCC mandates, while keeping their options open for a future evolution to IMS. The program provides them access to a suite of services offered by the Alliance including (but not limited to) the ability to purchase network equipment at the Alliance&#8217;s preferred pricing, access to Network Monitoring Services, use of Alliance developed &#8220;best practices&#8221; for network deployment, and help with project management. The program combines a focus on speed, capex and opex savings, with a migration path to the future.</p>

Held in partnership with <a href="http://soundcloud.com/" target="_blank"><strong>SoundCloud</strong></a>, the competition&#8217;s submission process is now open and closes on Sunday 20 May 2012.</p>
<p>The selected musical track will be used as the cornerstone of midem 2013&#8242;s sound strategy and featured in corporate communications as well as mainstream marketing. Submitted tracks should be original creations, acoustic or electronic, instrumental or featuring voices with a dynamic, cool and joyful spirit. Tracks should last 2&#8217;30&#8243; minimum and be uploaded on SoundCloud in .wav format before Sunday 20 May. The first 10 participants will receive a free one-year SoundCloud Lite account.</p>
<p>The winning artist will have his name copyrighted at the end of each midem video trailer and will be offered two free registrations for midem 2013, as well as a free one-year SoundCloud Pro account. <p>Additionally, <a href="http://www.att.com/gen/investor-relations?pid=9533" target="_blank">AT&amp;T stockholders</a> voted to approve the following items proposed by the board of directors:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>The appointment of Ernst &amp; Young LLP as the company&#8217;s independent auditor, with 98.4 percent of shares cast in favor and 1.6 percent cast against.</li>
<li>The compensation of AT&amp;T&#8217;s executive officers as described in the 2012 proxy statement, with 93.2 percent of shares cast in favor and 6.8 percent cast against.</li>
</ul>
<p>The board of directors proposed a fourth item — an amendment to the company&#8217;s certificate of incorporation to eliminate the article requiring the approval of two-thirds of the outstanding shares for action by written consent. Under Delaware law, the amendment to the certificate of incorporation requires the approval of at least two-thirds of the outstanding shares. This proposal received the approval of 50.9 percent of shares outstanding and did not pass.</p>
<p>The following proposals from stockholders were also voted on:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>A proposal asking AT&amp;T to issue a semi-annual report on political contributions and the policies and procedures for making such contributions was defeated by a vote of 61.4 percent against to 38.6 percent in favor.</li>
<li>A proposal asking that AT&amp;T commit to operating its <a href="http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=2943" target="_blank">wireless network</a> without the ability to privilege, degrade or prioritize any traffic was defeated by a vote of 94.1 percent against to 5.9 percent in favor.</li>
<li>A proposal asking that AT&amp;T adopt a policy that the chairman of the board be an independent director was defeated by a vote of 56.2 percent against to 43.8 percent in favor.</li>
</ul>
<p>When final voting results are available, they will be posted on the <a href="http://www.att.com/gen/landing-pages?pid=5718" target="_blank">AT&amp;T Investor Relations</a> website.</p>

<p>&#8220;Today&#8217;s adoption of the Innovation in the Television Bands Report and Order by the FCC marks another important step to freeing up valuable spectrum so the U.S. wireless industry may meet Americans&#8217; demand for mobile broadband services. By allowing broadcasters to share channels, the FCC is making TV spectrum license holders more efficient users of this finite resource. In turn, consumers will benefit as wireless providers will have an opportunity to purchase the repacked spectrum for billions at auction.&#8221;</p>
<p><em>In</em><em> response to today&#8217;s action by the </em><em>FCC</em><em> on Universal Service Fund, CTIA-The Wireless </em><em>Association</em><em>&#8216;s </em><em>Assistant</em><em> </em><em>Vice President</em><em> of Regulatory Affairs Scott Bergmann said:</em></p>
<p>&#8220;Today, the FCC began the process of reforming the way it collects money for the Universal Service Fund. Program costs are projected to be approximately $9 billion this year alone, so it&#8217;s important the burden of paying for it is distributed fairly. Right now, roughly 44 percent of the contribution burden falls on wireless providers and their customers. CTIA remains committed to working with the Commission to craft a revised USF contribution system that is fair, simple and efficient.&#8221;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At the Directions EMEA conference, Equisys today announced the launch of a new version of Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the foundation member of the Zetadocs document management family. As a result of a collaboration between Microsoft and Equisys, Zetadocs Express is made available without additional charge to users of the NAV 2009 R2 RoleTailored client who are on an active Business Ready Enhancement Plan.</p>
<p>The new release further supports the goals of Zetadocs to deliver greater business efficiency, improved customer service and lower carbon footprints by including a number of enhancements to this entry-level edition:</p>
<p><strong>On-premise or in the Cloud &#8211; </strong>Zetadocs Express now includes full support of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Online, allowing users to choose between on-premise SharePoint server or Office 365 in the Cloud for document archiving and retrieval at any time, from anywhere.</p>
<p><strong>Save and Send any report &#8211; </strong>The &#8220;Save and Send&#8221; feature has been expanded to enable almost any customized NAV report using SQL Server Reporting Services to be emailed, archiving a copy automatically in SharePoint.</p>
<p><strong>Huge document archives &#8211; </strong>A new day-based file plan in SharePoint handles the archiving of thousands of documents per day for well over a decade before there&#8217;s any requirement to move out older documents.</p>
<p>First announced at Directions EMEA last year, Zetadocs Express helps to streamline cumbersome paper-based processes such as Invoicing, Supplier Invoice Processing and Proof of Delivery Tracking by delivering foundation document management capabilities. These include the ability to &#8216;<strong>Drag and Drop</strong>&#8216; any file, email or attachment onto a record in the RoleTailored client to store it in SharePoint, &#8216;<strong>Document approval</strong>&#8216; which uses simple SharePoint workflows to enable colleagues to approve documents such as an invoices, and &#8216;<strong>Save and Send</strong>,&#8217; allowing NAV reports to be emailed, automatically saving copies in SharePoint for future retrieval on-screen.</p>
<p>Further automation and customization features such as sending batches of reports by email, or filing documents automatically using barcode recognition, are available via upgrades to the Zetadocs Essentials and Zetadocs Plus editions.</p>
<p>&#8220;Since its launch in October 2011, we&#8217;ve received lots of great feedback on Zetadocs Express and this has further cemented our belief that nearly every Microsoft Dynamics NAV user could benefit from better document management and the features of the Zetadocs for NAV product suite,&#8221; said Equisys CEO, Chris Oswald.</p>
<p>&#8220;The new update includes enhancements that will benefit existing users, such as the ability to send any NAV report and the greater document archive capacity. It will also broaden the choices available to first-time users through its integration with both on-premise and Cloud-based SharePoint versions.&#8221;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tyco International Ltd. today announced that Tony Wells will assume the role of chief marketing and customer officer of The ADT Corporation, to be created upon separation from Tyco later this year.</p>
<p>&#8220;Tony&#8217;s hiring is another example of our commitment to bringing top-tier talent to our management team as ADT prepares to become an independent public company,&#8221; said Naren Gursahaney, current president of Tyco&#8217;s ADT North American residential and small business security segment and future chief executive officer of The ADT Corporation. &#8220;Tony brings best-in-class marketing and digital expertise, strong customer engagement insight and a deep understanding of ADT&#8217;s subscription-based business model. <p>Mr. Wells, 47, joins ADT from 24 Hour Fitness, where he served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer since 2007. At 24 Hour Fitness, he was responsible for marketing communications, public relations, oversight of 24hourfitness.com, member services and retail products/services. Previously, Mr. Wells served as vice president, client services for VISA USA, Inc., where he was directly responsible for global relationship management for HSBC and USAA Banks. Wells joined VISA USA as vice president, partnership marketing, where he oversaw daily operations and management of Visa&#8217;s sponsorship, event and alliance efforts. Mr. Wells also held a variety of marketing positions at other major brands, including General Motors R*Works, Mills Corporation, and Nissan North America, Inc. A former Marine infantry officer, Mr. Wells received a B.S. degree from the United States Naval Academy and a management certificate from Johns Hopkins University.</p>
<p>Don Boerema, who had been serving as ADT&#8217;s chief marketing officer, has assumed the new role of chief corporate development officer. In this role, Mr. Boerema will be responsible for corporate strategy, market development, business development, mergers and acquisitions and new business units.</p>
